Sandra Tonack, Owner, Chief Executive Officer
Sandra has spent the last 22 years being a mom and working in the areas of health care marketing and behavior health nursing. Sandra has a passion for human potential development and helping others improve their lives. Sandra’s vision of developing a web-based life improvement education resource for single mothers quickly evolved into Ascendant Education when Community Development Incorporated CEO, Fred Cornforth, shared with Sandra the need for a better way of offering supportive services to residents of affordable housing communities. Sandra has a B.A. in Business, is a Registered Nurse and Life Coach.
Winston Tonack, Senior Data Organizer
Winston graduated summa cum laude from Southern University in 2012 with a Bachelor in Financial Management. In addition to maintaining compliance and resident communication data for Ascendant, Winston holds a full time position at Grace Health Care in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a Regional Financial Controller.
Warren Tonack, Senior Resource Developer
Warren is currently a senior at Baylor University in Texas, completing degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship and members of Betta Gamma Sigma, National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Tau Sigma Honor Society. In addition to his scholastic pursuits and maintaining Ascendant’s website resources, Warren works for Baylor University Marketing and Communications.
Jodi Blackerby, Client Services Consultant
Jodi has spent more than 20 years in various management and marketing positions within the health care industry and most recently worked as a Marketing Liaison for HealthSouth for 5 years. Jodi is a certified Life Coach.
